Chattanooga, TN – Gospel Music recording artist Young Harmony has
announced big news for the ministry. Beginning in December of 2007,
Johnathan will be preaching three day revivals (Thursday, Friday and
Saturday). Young Harmony will be singing each night. Johnathan and
Ginger will be at a church on Sunday morning, preaching and singing
and then at another church on Sunday evening, preaching and singing.
They will continue to operate under the name, ‘Young Harmony’,
continuing to release music to radio, record new music, all the while
focusing on the preaching side of what GOD has called Johnathan to do.
Johnathan and Ginger began traveling as Young Harmony in 1994. They
knew in the beginning that God did not call them to be ‘entertainers’
but as Ministers of the Gospel through music. Johnathan and Ginger
have been blessed to have many opportunities to spread the Good News
in music, as well as preaching approximately four revivals a year.
Over the past few months, Johnathan and Ginger have been praying about
the changes in the direction of the ministry they were feeling were
about to take place. God began to reveal Himself through scriptures
that He gave to Johnathan. Here are a few of the scriptures that God
used:
Luke 4:18- The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath
anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised.
II Timothy 4:2- Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season;
reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3- For
the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after
their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears; 4- And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall
be turned unto fables. 5- But watch thou in all things, endure
afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy
ministry.
