You Have Succeeded!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I will tell you that Ginger and I were able to be home this weekend to spend sometime with our Dads as well as our children to spend time with me.

– Saturday, my Dad (Danny), my brother (Lamar), my brother in law (Zack), along our middle son (Markale) and my nephews and one niece went bowling. Well, the score isn’t whats important! It was that we were blessed to be able to spend quality time with our Dad and quality family time. OH, and we went to eat (of course…lol) What a blessing to have a Dad like GOD has blessed me with.

– Sunday, we were able to spend time with Ginger’s Dad (Raymond), her mother (Vickie) along with both of her brothers, their wives (Ray & Coette and Robby & Lori) and all of the nieces and nephews. We watched some golf tournaments on television, ate (of course…) and just spent some great family time. Ginger was blessed by GOD to have the Dad that GOD placed her with.

– Sunday Evening we were able to be in our home church (New Haven) with our Pastor (Brother Bill & Sister Joyce Broome) and our church family. Pastor preached on HOPE! Awesome message and great reminder that no matter what things may look like, when we have hope in JESUS we are in good shape! It’s just a GOD thing!

On Saturday, as I was opening the mail, I began to read a great letter from a lady in Missouri. It was such a blessing that I wanted to share part of a quote from her. I pray you enjoy it and through it find out if you have succeeded in life or not.

A Legacy: (written by Ralph Waldo Emerson)

To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children:

To earn the appreciate of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends:

To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bet better place, whether by a healthy child, a greener garden patch or a more redeemed social condition:

To know even one person has breathed easier because you have lived:

This is to know that you have indeed succeeded!

Your prayers are much appreciated and your friendship a blessing to have.
