After a Sunday morning concert, a young boy 16 years old, walked up to my product table and was looking at my CD’s and books. I was talking with others that were standing around the table, however still I acknowledged him. When the others had walked away, I noticed that he was still standing there. I said, “Hey there, how are you?” He said, “I would like to talk to you, if you have time.” I had someone else work the product table while he and I walked outside. He said, “My parents have forced me come to church all of my life. I have always been confused about religion, but today you helped me to understand more about JESUS.” I told him, “I have been a Christian for the past 25 years and religion still confuses me. Thankfully I have learned that I don’t have to understand religion, I have decided that I want more and more of JESUS and and a whole lot less of religion.” He said, “How do I do that? I would like to know more about JESUS in how you talked about him today.” I asked if he had ever surrendered his life or been saved. He said, “I would like to be saved right now. Will you pray with me?” We prayed together and I told him, “Always remember that religion tares down people, but JESUS encourages and builds up. Never allow yourself to become religious, just always focus on allowing JESUS to love through you.” He hugged me and said, “GOD sent you here today for me, didn’t he?” I told him that he should go and tell his parents, as well as the pastor, what just happened. As he ran to share the good news, I couldn’t help but think of just how much GOD loves each of us, and always plans our steps. THANK YOU JESUS! ‪#‎PlusOne‬
