After one of my concerts an older gentleman (88 years old) came back to my product table and asked if he give me a hug. He said, “Thank you for reaching into my heart today.” He went on to say, “I want to give you something, but I have never had much money in this world. However, I would like to give you this pocket knife. It belonged to my father who passed away when I was 15 years old. It is all that I ever had of his and I have carried it with me everywhere, everyday. Now I want you to have it.” OH MY! Completely overwhelming! What an awesome gift! I thought about the lady in the bible that gave the 2 mites (not much value – Mark 12:42), but one of the greatest gifts from the heart.
While I couldn’t use that knife to purchase fuel or food, that was a major gift to me. THANK YOU GOD! I ask you to bless this family with more then they can contain.
Please take time to notice those around you. GOD has placed them in your life for a purpose. Let HIM love through you.
