Johnathan Bond

I was asked to perform at a college in North Carolina for FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). I loved the opportunity and all seemed to be received extremely well by the young men. There were about 200 young adults and about 75 adults in attendance. After the concert was over, as I was headed to my car, I was approached by a young man named Brandon. Brandon is 20 years old and a quarterback for the college team. He walked up to me and said, “Sir, do you have a moment to talk?” Of course, I said yes. He said, “I have never really believed in GOD and only came tonight because a friend told me about your wreck.” He went on to say, “But tonight as you were talking about GOD, you persuaded me that HE was real. I caught myself tearing up as you told about the homeless boy in Atlanta, and the other stories. I want to get to know GOD that way, so I can hear HIM, too.” We talked for a little bit and I asked if I could pray with him. He said, “I was hoping that you would. I know that I have a lot to learn, but I am willing.” WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM!
